Launched in partnership with the High Sheriff of Shropshire 2022/23, Selina Graham, Shropshire Investors in Community is open to organisations of all sizes who’d like to make an impactful, sustainable, and positive difference to those most in need across the county.
How can you and your business invest in your local community?
Join some of Shropshire’s top businesses and individuals as part of a new collective committed to investing in the future of Shropshire and its people.
Through the Shropshire IIC you’ll be supporting the Shropshire Community Foundation on its mission to build a long-term source of sustainable, strategic grant funding for the good of those communities and people most in need across Shropshire.
Why join the Shropshire Investors in Community (SIIC)?

- Working as part of a collective enables us all to work collaboratively and more effectively to build a stronger future for Shropshire by supporting grassroots community groups and charities and the people they serve.
Shared skills

- Working with the SIIC will provide a tangible demonstration of your organisation’s commitment to CSR and social values, with the opportunity to visit some recipients of the funds.
Be part of a collective
- As a SIIC member you’ll be invited to our annual dinner where you can share experiences and ideas with like-minded businesses with a strong community ethos and will receive quarterly updates on the impact your contributions are making.
- Your organisation will be presented with a certificate and plaque to mark your membership and commitment. You will be able to use the prestigious IIC logo and your business will be included in the Shropshire Community Foundation’s marketing and communications programme.
