We are looking for special people to join our Trustee Board.

Can you support our vision “Through philanthropy, to build a long-term source of sustainable, strategic grant funding for the good of those communities and people most in need across Shropshire”?

Do you want to help us  to create the biggest social impact possible, through generating and investing donations and endowments, securing statutory funding, and delivering grants which address specific challenges in local communities?

Trustee experience or experience in the charity sector is not required.

The role:Working as part of an established Board to ensure effective governance and delivery of Shropshire Community Foundation’s strategic direction, supporting fund development, investment oversight and supporting grant making

Salary: Voluntary (paid travel expenses)

Time: Commitment to attend (per annum):

  • a minimum of four x quarterly board meetings
  • one training day
  • one strategic day
  • flexibility to attend occasional other meetings (virtual and in-person) during the working day and evenings.

Location: Shropshire
